Request Account Deletion

In accordance with data protection regulations including GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page allows you to submit a formal account deletion request for any Havenya LLC service, including all Shopleez applications. Please review the information below to understand what data will be deleted and the process timeline.

Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

Upon completion of your deletion request, the following personal data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from all Havenya LLC systems and backups:

  • Account Credentials: Email address, password hash, phone number, and account identifiers
  • Personal Profile Information: Name, profile picture, saved delivery addresses, and user preferences
  • Order & Transaction History: Complete order history, receipts, and purchase records (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Shopping Data: Wishlists, favorites, shopping cart contents, and browsing history
  • Payment Information: All saved payment methods and billing addresses (note: actual card data is stored by our PCI-compliant payment processor)
  • Communications: Support ticket history, in-app messages, and feedback submissions
  • Device & Analytics Data: Device identifiers, app usage analytics, and location history

Data We May Be Required to Retain

Under applicable law, we may be required to retain certain information even after account deletion:

  • Financial Records: Transaction records required for tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting (retained for up to 7 years as required by U.S. tax law)
  • Legal & Compliance Records: Data necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities, or protect our legal rights
  • Fraud Prevention: Limited data necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or protect user safety
  • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized, aggregated statistical data that cannot be used to identify any individual user

Retained data is securely stored with restricted access and is used only for the specific legal purposes described above.

Deletion Process & Timeline

Your account deletion request will be processed according to the following timeline, in compliance with GDPR Article 17 and CCPA requirements:

  • Request Acknowledgment (Within 24 hours): You will receive an email confirming receipt of your deletion request, including a reference number for tracking
  • Verification (1-3 business days): We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and protect against unauthorized deletion
  • Account Deactivation (Immediate upon verification): Your account will be deactivated, preventing any further access or data collection
  • Data Deletion (Within 30 days): All eligible personal data will be permanently deleted from our primary systems and backups
  • Completion Confirmation: You will receive a final email confirming that your data has been deleted

Alternative Options to Consider

Before proceeding with permanent account deletion, you may want to consider these alternatives:

  • Account Deactivation: Temporarily suspend your account while preserving your data. Your account can be reactivated at any time by contacting support at ahmed@havenya.com
  • Data Portability Request: Under GDPR Article 20 and CCPA, you have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format before deletion. Email us to request your data export.
  • Privacy Settings Adjustment: Modify your communication preferences, disable analytics collection, or adjust app permissions without deleting your account entirely
  • Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from promotional communications while maintaining your account and full service access

  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled without refund
